Hello and thank you for downloading Code415E, the game guaranteed to change your life (hopefully in a positive way)!
This game took me several hours to write, code, test, and update, and was completely written in Java with the exception of the two shell-scripts that run the *.jar file.
The game uses advanced knowledge of Arrays, ArrayLists, scanners, String manipulation, and good humor to make (in my completely unbiased opinion) one of the best games every created.

Here are the instructions on how to install the game:

For Windows 7, 8, 10 (and beyond):
1) Make sure that Java is installed. If it is not (or you want to install it again for fun), here is the link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
2) Once Java is installed, click the file @WINDOWS_OS.bat, which will execute a simple script to open the game in the Command Prompt.
3) That’s it! Enjoy!

For macOS Sierra (10.12) or Yosemite (OS X 10.10):
1) Make sure that Java is installed. If it is not (or you want to install it again for fun), here is the link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
2) Once Java is installed, click the file @MAC_OS.command, which will likely tell you that it cannot trust the file since it was downloaded by a third party source. I promise, it is just four lines of code that redirect the directory to the Code415E file and then run the *.jar file. Go to your Security & Privacy preferences in Settings and click “Open Anyway” to allow the file to continue to open.
3) The file should now execute the simple script and open the game in the Terminal.
4) That’s it! Enjoy!

For El Capitan (OS X 10.11), Yosemite (OS X 10.10), Mavericks (OS X 10.9), Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8), and Lion (OS X 10.7):
1) Make sure that Java is installed. If it is not (or you want to install it again for fun), here is the link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

For Linux:
1) You’re running a Linux machine. This should be simple for you. Just open the Terminal and do your thing.
2) Oh, you don’t want to do your thing? Okay, fine: normal people directions. Make sure that Java is installed. If it is not (or you want to install it again for fun), here is the link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
3) Once Java is installed, click the file @MAC_OS.command (sorry it doesn’t say LINUX.command), which should now execute the simple script and open the game in the Terminal.
4) That’s it! Enjoy!
